Integrated writing-hydrogen-based engine&internal-combustion engine

The passage and the lecture talk about the advantages and disadvantages of hydrogen-based engine. The author thinks hydrogen-based engine has many advantages while the professor holds the opposite view.

The author suggests that hydrogen-based engine is more available and usable than internal-combustion engine because it uses water as the burning source and water is abundant in nature. On the other hand, the speaker holds the view that since the process of creating and storing suitable water (pure water) is very difficult due to our technology, it is not as what the passage suggests.

The passage also mentions the attractiveness of hydrogen power over internal-combustion engine because of the little pollution it brings to the environment. However, the speaker believes that the process of creating and purifying water needed for hudrogen-based engine also requires energy from fossil fuels which are not environmentally friendly, so that isn’t true.

Another advantage the passage mentions is that when using water as a power source, costs are reduced because it is cheaper to operate. While the speaker argues that the material needed for the component is necessary and costly. This leads to high costs actually.
