It’s hard to deny that the public transportation plays an indispensable role in people’s daily life, and such a fact mislead the impressionable people to generate the opinion that the public transportation is more important than the Internet. However, in the modern age, when Internet has been blossoming, such a statement could be considered as a logical fallacy which should be examined meticulously. As far as economy, the improvement of technology, and convenience are considered, I strongly hold the view that governments should spend money to improve Internet access.

First, improving Internet access is helpful for the economy. Take the case of Amazon, which is an Internet shopping mall that everyone accesses the Internet can buy things on it. As a result, it earned a lot of money and quantities of job opportunities are created. Had it not been for the Internet access, Amazon, and the other Internet company would never accumulate a large number of users and gain money, even finally increase society economy.

Besides, since the Internet technology is progressing, if there are still many people can’t access the Internet or their Internet qualities are bad, they may fall behind the times. This is because technology is changing fast, and even every day there are new Internet products. Meanwhile, if the users of the Internet are increased, it will also benefit for the technology improvement. This is because there will be more users, which will encourage the company to make progress, and maybe some of these users eventually will become programmers.

Admittedly, a voice arises that the public transportation is convenient for the public. Nevertheless, in the modern, some affairs can easily be done through the Internet, such as sending letters. And certainly, Internet is also convenient for the public, they can communicate with friends far from thousands of kilometers right away, and they can know what happened these days through the Internet. What’s more, they use Internet to relax themselves like browse some videos or play games. Therefore, Internet also plays an indispensable role in people’s daily life.
