Some people agree that the government should spend money to improve Internet access than to improve public transportation. I believe that transportation is more important. I feel this way for two reasons, which I will explain in the following essay.

To begin with, transportation is the key to financial development. For example, Chinese people always say if one place wanna be rich, it should build roads to break the natural barriers to the economy. Shenzhen, the economic center in China, where is just a small fishing village in the past thousands of years. But after the reforming and opening policy, the Guangdong government has invested a lot of money in the construction of transportation. As a result, the small village is experiencing a giant change until now. Many freight from the harbor can be transported to other cities by highways and planes. And Shenzhen has a very large advantage different from other cities in China: it is very close to the world’s finance center-Hongkong. After more than 40 years of rapid development, at present, Shenzhen has much more GDP than the adjacent Hongkong. In a nutshell, it’s transportation that helps Shenzhen become a superstar among Chinese cities.

Furthermore, transportation’s growth will cause the wide building of Internet access. For instance, the development of transportation makes the development of trades, and the prosperous trades will need more convenient information equipment. As known to all, the Internet is the most efficient information source in the modern city. So it is very reasonable for the government to build the Internet. In addition, the progress of transportation will attract more people to live in the city which will make a lot of requests for recreation. Certainly, the Internet is a good and cheap method for providing games and social media which are the main approach to happiness. Logically, the Internet will be strengthened after the construction of transportation.
