Secondarily, the passage suggests using pipelines of canals to deliver ocean water into the lake. However, the speaker doubted the ability of the government since the resource needed to build pipelines for such a long distance is quite a big number.

The third method the passage mentioned is to separate the lake by walls to hold the salt in a small area and control the main area by letting fresh water in. Although thoughtfully very nicely, this program will be destroyed once an earthquake happens, and therefore not supported by the speaker.
