Some people think job satisfaction is more important than job security, other people think one should find a permanent job. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

In contemporary society, there is arisen a heated debate over the relative importance of job chosen. Some people entertain that individuals should find a satisfactory work whereas others hold that permanent is the first and foremost point. This essay will evaluate both of these viewpoints.

Seen from the traditional perspective, it is pretty significant for especially graduates to get a permanent job such as civil servant or bank staff. There is no doubt that such safe and regular work could supply the basic living needs of employees. For the reason that no one can escape from reality, which means transport and even education tuition. Relatively stable jobs can pay for that, or at least keep people alive. In addition, long-term employees in the same company are more likely to be promoted, as it shows loyalty similarly.

By contrast, those individuals who pursuing a job they love might regard job satisfaction as the priority when looking for a job. Comparing to employees who do the same thing for a long time, although a likable job can stimulate the endless passion, tap the unlimited potentials and enhance the happiness index, it should be under the premise of ensuring a basic life. There is a common phenomenon nowadays is a part of graduates are too idealistic, leading to a sharp rise in unemployment.

Steve jobs, the current CEO of apple, said that young people must do what they love to do. As far as I’m concerned, it is true that finding a permanent job is important, but a suitable job is more essential.

To sum up, the answer to the question of whether a steady but boring job is a satisfying one depends on the audience. Young people are keen to challenges, while middle-aged people are busy supporting their families.

In contemporary society, there is arisen a debate over choosing jobs. Some people entertain that individuals should find satisfactory work whereas others hold that the first and foremost point is consistency. From personal perspective, both of them are necessary.

On the one hand, there is no doubt that such safe and regular work could supply the basic living needs of employees. Seen from the traditional perspective, parents often hope their child get a permanent job such as civil servants or bank staff. It is because relatively stable jobs can pay for housing, food, bills, health care, and education at least, covering their life needs. If people chose their jobs based on enjoyment or other non-financial factors, they might find it difficult to support themselves. Street artists and musicians, for instance, choose a career path that they love, but that does not always provide them with enough money to live comfortably and raise a family.

Nevertheless, some people consider it a priority to have a reasonable quality of life through higher working satisfaction. Their feelings of job satisfaction come from their professional achievements, the skills they learn and the position they reach, rather than the money they earn. As scientific investigation shows, an enjoyable job can stimulate the endless passion, tap the unlimited potentials and enhance the happiness index.Additionally, some people choose a career just because they would like to help others and contribute something positive to society.

To sum up, while job security certainly affects people’s choice of profession, I believe that the satisfaction is equally indispensable.

    Thank you for your time.
