There is a heated discussion about who should teach children to be good member of society. Some people reckon parents are responsible for that, while others think it is school’s duty. In my view, both parents and schools play an important role in children’s sociability.

On the one hand, it is no doubt that parents are children’s best teacher in social skills. Because spending most of time with parents during growth stage ,children are likely to imitate parents’ behaviors unintentionally. So, if parents do not teach their children what are correct behaviors in the society , there are chances that children would learn something bad form them. For example,children whose parents are not punctual always do bad on timekeeping. It is a common belief that children are the mirror of parents, hence parents are supposed to prevent children form impacted by their bad sociability.

On the other hand, schools are also essential places for teaching children to be good social members. On account of there are many contemporaries, schools are ideal for children to practice and refine their social skills. For instance, schools provide a lot of projects which give chances for students to cooperate with each other. During that, they could learn skills on how to present themselves as well as accept others opinions. It is hard to obtain such skills in only child or wide-range ageing sibling families, therefore schools are good places for them to learn how to be good social members.

Form my point of view,children are too young to distinguish good from bad without guidance and they will mimic everything they observed. So, there are necessity for both parents and schools in teaching children the way to behave well in society.
