Parents today are more involved in their children’s education than were parents in the past.

Nowadays, people hold a different view on the role parents playing in children’s education. Some people say that parents show little interest in education.Others point out that the time spent on education is much longer.I agree with the latter.Parents pay more attention to education than parents in the past.

First, parents realize the importance of education. They are more willing to spend time in studying with children instead of regarding it as a waste of time.I had problems with understanding the biological experiment in fundamental school.I got confused about the features of amphibians. My mother captured a live frog and made it jump up and down.It worked for me because I had no need to force myself to focus. Also, it triggered my interests in biology.Without my parents’ efforts, I wouldn’t have access to university. They played an important role in fundamental education.

Second, parents have more spare time to accompany with their children. The development of society enhances the quality of life. Parents have no need to work for whole day to support the family.More time is available for them to pay attention to life of their children. With more income, parents can also provide space for children to develop an interest.A statistical form on the Internet provides solid evidence.Compared to parents in 1980, time spent on education is twice as long as in the past.

Third, teachers encourage parents to be concerned about children’s studying process.Teachers recommend parents to communicate with their children more. There is no denying that teachers can’t supersede the role parents play.More and more parents begin to pay attention to their children with the suggestion proposed.

In conclusion, parents are more involved in their children’s education. More spared time, realization of education’s significance, and suggestions from teachers contribute to the result.
