Because the world is changing so quickly, people now are less happy or less satisfied with their lives than people were in the past. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Currently, with the development of society, and the improvement of daily life quality, people have more pursuits.
People in the past, was lack of the foods and commodities. The primarily goal every day was thinking how to solve the problem of starvation. In my parents’ childhood, every family in the town was very poor, and the work of most adults was farming. Neighborhood gathered and chatting with my grandparents about the crops and their lives in the evening. More foods, and families around them is the greatest satisfaction and happiness. My mother did some entertainments with her classmates every day after school. The entertainment such as hide and seek, swimming, is very simplicity, and my mother said her childhood was very delightful, and the life in the past was very pure, and the way to get happiness was easy.
With the satisfaction of solving the problem of starvation, people start to satisfy other desires. Some people buy clothes not for necessary but for beauty. Some students also use the online loan to buy what they can not afford such as cell phones, laptops, as desire grows. If people are satisfied with their lives, nobody will borrow the online loan with high risk to buy the things. It is normally that if we find other people have the things that we do not have, we will be desperate to get it.
More and more parents let their kids to learn various skills such as singing, drawing, and so on. Whenever people finish learning one thing, another thing appears. This is one of the reasons why people are hard to be happy. On the other hand, people have many ways to enrich their knowledge, and they are never content with what they have learned.
From what I illustrated above, we can draw a conclusion that people are hard to get happy or satisfied with their lives than people were in the past. Although people now have more chances to do what they want, with the increasing need of each aspect, it is difficult to get happiness instead.
