Nowadays, require students to take history courses becomes prevailing among many universities. Whereas many arguments are made to support the stance that it is indispensable for students to take history courses no matter what their field of study is, these I invariably reject as flawed and overstated. I hold that universities should not require all the students to take history courses and I will outline why I feel this way in this essay.

First, let all the students in university to study history will increases financial burden on school or even on students. School need to set more class rooms and hire more history teachers enables to make sure all the students can get in to history classes, which will defiantly cost more money. To be better illustrate, take my high  school as an example. In the second semester, school set up an outside school activity and required all the students to take it, which finally need each students to pay over fifty thousand Yuan. Therefore, it is obvious that ask all the students to take history classes will let schools and students suffering financial burden.

In addition, the requirement will decreases students efficiency and make they studying schedule less flexible. History is not a simple subject, it is crucial for students spent hours on this subject, it is both time-consuming and energy-consuming. For example, my sister’s school require all them to take history last year, she needed to studying her chosen class and history. She was exhausted and even cannot handled her own studying field. Thus, the inflexible of requiring all the students to take history no matter what is their staying field will causes more troubles of universities students.

All in all, although I do not totally deny the effect of taking history courses on students, I believe it is not necessary to require all the students to take history courses. Because it will increases financial burden on both schools and students, but also because it is time-consuming and energy-consuming for students whose studying field has no relations with history.

Nowadays, require (verb form error) students to take history courses becomes (verb form error) prevailing (word choice error) among many universities. Whereas many arguments are made to support the stance that it is indispensable for students to take history courses no matter what their field of study is (far too wordy, simplify), these I invariably reject as flawed and overstated (simplify). I hold that (believe) universities should not require all the (delete) students to take history courses and I will outline why I feel this way (my reasoning) in this essay.
