The flow diagram illustrates the process of canned fruit production.
It is noticeable that there are 14 stages in the process. The process begins with the picking of fruits and ends with the delivery of packaged fruit cans to supermarkets for sale.
At the beginning of the process, the fruits are picked and then be transported to the factory. Next, the fruits are washed under running water before being stored at a low temperature (approximately 10 degrees Celsius) in a warehouse. After that, the unqualified fruits are rejected and the qualified ones are weighted.
At the seventh stage of the process, the fruits are pared and then shelled before being cooked in containers. After that, the fruits are stalled in sealed cans after some juice is added. Next, the fruit cans are cooled for some time. At the following stages, the sealed fruit cans are packaged and delivered from the factory to the supermarket, and then to the hands of consumers.
