The chart and the table give information about how the value of one country’s exports in various categories changes during 2015 and 2016.
It can be easily seen from the chart that petroleum products and engineered goods hold the most value with over 50 billion dollars each in both years. And there is a steady increase in both categories. On the contrary, the value of textiles in 2015 is less than 30 billion dollars, which is the least of all five categories included. However, with a significant increase of 15.24% in 2016, the value of textiles successfully catches up with Agricultural products, whose value remains constant about 30 billion dollars as the year before. As for the gems and jewellery, it is the only one that suffers from a decrease of about 5%. But it still holds a value of over 40 billion dollars, which takes the middle position of all five categories.
Overall, different types of categories hold different value in export earnings, and will change differently.
