Education, the foundation of quality life, has triggered heated discussions over the necessity of training teachers. Selecting a group of teachers and letting them teach the rest, in some people’s opinions, is of merits. Contrarily, I assert that it would be advantageous to train every teacher through the Internet.

First of all, what must be the priority is that training online would be convenient for teachers. In other words, they do not need to spend much time on their ways. To be specific, teachers at Lanzhou University would take online courses, including teaching tones, formats of slides, as well as the amount of homework they should assign every day. Without going out homes, they only had to sit in front of their desks, open their laptops, take notes and so on. Also, following this format, teachers could have more time to discover deeper on their own. Contrarily, if they were required to take classes in other places like a meeting room at school, some of them might spend at least one hour arriving at that place, which would be a time-consuming task. Therefore, it would be better for teachers to get training online.

Furthermore, training on the Internet provides teachers with opportunities to use technologies. To be specific, as for my math teacher Tracy Wang, she was asked to take classes on the Internet every Friday. When she encountered some difficulties during the training, such as a concept called teaching methodology, she surfed the Internet and understood the meaning by typing the keyword on Google or posing the questions online and waiting for the answers. In this manner, she gradually came up with new teaching plans, enabling students to have the most suitable ones. In contrast, once she was trained at school, even if the speaker answered her questions, it was still difficult for her to comprehend. More seriously, as more problems existed, she became more and more confused, resulting in the fact that she could not improve her teaching methods effectively.

To sum up, only by training those teachers online individually, could everyone reap numerous benefits.
