The graph shows the number of visitors for three different areas in a European country between 1987 and 2007.

The line chart details the differences between the number of people travelling to three main areas in Europe over a 20-year period from 1987 to 2007.

Overall, it is readily apparent that more and more people went to these scenic spots. Though the scenery spot in the mountain gained a much larger number of travellers, the coast was still the most popular place throughout 20 years.

During the first decade, the number of the coast visiting group and the mountain visiting group had opposite patterns with the former group dipping rapidly from 70 thousand in 1987 to a low of 50 thousand in 1997. From there, the latter group remained a dramatic upward trend and obtained nearly 50,000 growth, peaked at 70,000 in 2002. However, there was a 10 thousand man-time drop for the mountain following the next 5 years, when people showed the strongest interests in the coast and hit a high of 80,000 by 2007.

While the final group, the number of the visitors for the lake, fluctuated between 30 and 40 thousand but had surrendered those gains by 1997, before undergoing a stable increase and reaching 40,000 person-time to finish the period.
