As far as personal character and administrative ability are concerned, I strong hold that we should give priority to the people who get those elements.

Personal character is the most significant factor for a politician or a leader. As a politician or a leader, you’ve got more powers than normal citizens or team members to operate things and more convenient to manipulate the systems. There are many enticements in the process. Effective self-control is crucial since he or she is responsible for their citizens or team members. Meanwhile, if you take the advantages of the convenience in your position to do something immoral like corruption, it will cause huge losses to the whole nation or the whole team. Furthermore, if you take the advantages of the convenience in your position to deal with your personal issues, it will lead to unnecessary waste of resources. Therefore, the significance of morality is clear even to the layman’s eyes, and we should place emphasis on it.

Administrative ability is another crucial element. A talented politician or a leader could lead a nation or a team to the prosperity or the success. In contrast, a terrible politician or a lead may cause catastrophe to a country or a team. For instance, due to the insufficient investigation and evaluation, a president of a country decided to start warfare with another country to address the current disputes. However, such an absurd action ended up with the deaths of millions of people and the destruction of thousands of buildings, and no one won the war in the end. Had it not been for that irrational or even silly decision, such a tragedy would never appear in the real life.
