The teacher or the meeting leader says something incorrect. In your opinion, which of the following is the best thing to do?

    1. Interrupt and correct the mistake right away.

    2. Wait until the class or meeting is over and the people are gone, and then talk to him/her.

    3.Say nothing.

Sooner the mistake is corrected, less bad influence there will be. Correcting the mistake made by the teacher or leader is to prevent them from making more mistakes and get into a bigger embarrassment. And it saves time for turning back later. What’s more, it shows that you are listening very carefully and understand what he/she says fully.

When the teacher say something wrong, students feel free to say about it. That is what an efficient, active and intriguing class is supposed to be like. Take my teacher of calculate class for example, he said that he liked the students correcting his writing or speaking mistakes right after he made it. He thought it was a good way to keep most students concentrated. That was the reason why he had never used slides, for it can be polished every year and soon there were no mistakes at all. The case of the meeting is the same in terms of keeping everybody concentrated.

Sometimes one small mistake will lead to a series of bigger mistakes till the thing is out of track totally. Correct your leader is to prevent him/her from  getting into a more embarrassing situation. In a good team, the leader never blame his coworkers of pointing out his mistakes. Actually, everybody attending the meeting has the responsibility to keep it on track, which is of great significant to efficiency.

Granted, not everyone is open to criticism. We all feel upset more or less when our faults are pointed   out. However, if one can remind us in a respectful way, most people are willing to take it.

Correcting the unintentionally fault of your teacher or leader right after he/she made it, you save him/her, show your concentration and save time for all of you, then everybody will be grateful.
