Young people are the great contributors to society’s development, and also the victims of society’s living conditions. Instead of making rules for them without thinking twice, we should consider the stress they suffer and how society will change in the future.

Nowadays adolescents are receiving more and more expectations, together with more and more rules, which have drawn tremendous stress on them. Are the rules too harsh for today’s young people to follow and obey? My answer is YES.

The world is witnessing a decreasing average age of scientists, enterprise managers and politicians. Some may attribute such result to education. But when looking into history, schools are becoming more and more liberal, free and have more kinds of courses. What’s behind the achievements young people make is their endeavour together with the considerable stress. Consider what a person will experience in his/her teenage. Innumerous courses and exams in school, the competition for jobs and so on. The living cost isn’t improve as the society develops, as a result all the young people are trying to enter the colleges and get a decent job. It’s poignant that the suicide rate is increasing among adolescents, which warns us that it’s high time to pay attention to the living and mental condition of young people…
