Currently, quit a few  individuals pour attention into classes and libraries. Nevertheless, I agree that sports and social activities are just as important as classes and libraries and should receive equal financial support. Without sports and social activities, our lives are incomplete.

It is beneficial for students healthy to play sports. There are an increasing number of students facing obese. As an example, our university holds physical fitness test every year. Last year I saw some students felt uncomfortable when they were running. I was worried about whether they would suddenly fall down . So sports are as essential as classes and libraries.

Secondly, social activities help students advance communication skill. Without it, we are likely to misunderstand other meaning. For example, once I didn’t immediately understand the task that my manager offered to me when I was an intern in a company. For the reason that I felt nervous at that time, I didn’t ask for help from others. I made a mistake at the end. At that time, I started to realize how communication skill is important. Moreover we can improve it by social activities.

Finally, I hold the view that sports and social activities can develop relationships with friends. We seldom have a chance to work with others while studying in class or libraries. However, a football match don’t need much oral communication but our relationship with teammates will get closer after a match. Furthermore we even want to have dinner with others after a match. So sports and social activities make a difference on one’s relationship.

In conclusion, I think we should give sports and social activities enough attention as classes and libraries. Overall, a successful man not only has vast knowledge which comes from books but also has versatile ability we learn from sports and social activities.
