When facing the dilemma whether to choose a secure job or wait for a satisfying one, everyone’s answer varies. As far as I am concerned, I would like to take a satisfying job. The reasons are as follows.

First of all, a satisfying job always guarantee higher salary. Nowadays young people’s financial burden has increased a lot, so with this job they are able to afford the houses, cars and their families. For instance, NBA players are usually traded or dismissed by their clubs and have to move from city to city. However, they can always get a new job invitation even with higher salary because they are the best basketball players in the world. What’s more, they can even choose the team, coach and teammates they want to work with.

Secondly, an insecure job probably means the rapid development of this field and more promoting opportunities. For example, one of my uncles once worked in many IT companies. The work burden in these places was heavy and they often needed to stay up very late to finish projects. Consequently, many people chose to leave just after a few months’ work. However, my uncle could always finish the business before the deadline and even helped other co-workers. As a result, one of his bosses gradually trusted him and this year he even recommended my uncle to Huawei company as a project manager.

Last, in my opinion, whether the job is valuable and suitable for workers, outweighs if it’s secure. To be more specific, only when people truly enjoy their job can they entirely devote themselves to it and make some achievements. Take my aunt as an example. When she graduated from university, she accepted a secure nurse job, daily work of which is to help doctors with documentary work, fill some firms on computer or guide patients. Soon she found it was boring and thought she had no interest in medical care. Actually she majored economy in university so she went back to school and finally got her master degree of economy. After that she has chosen many insecure but high-paid jobs and now she is still possible to be dismissed if she can’t achieve the requirement of her boss. But she is satisfied with this competitive job because she loves doing economy work.
