In contemporary society, there is a debate over the nature of a job. Some people consider that individuals should find satisfactory work, whereas others hold that consistency is more important. From where I stand, both of considerations are necessary.

On the one hand, there is no doubt that having a safe and regular job could supply the basic living needs of employees. For example, parents hope that their child could get a permanent job .Seen from the traditional perspective, it is because stable jobs such as civil servants or bank staff can pay for housing, food, bills, health care, and education, at least. They are necessities, covering people’s life needs. If people chose their jobs based on enjoyment, they might find it difficult to support themselves. Street artists and musicians, for instance, choose a career path that they love. However, free and unstable career paths do not always provide them with enough money to live comfortably and raise a family.

On the other hand, some people think it a priority to have a higher working satisfaction. For instance, a few people chooses a career due to enjoying helping others and contributing something positive to society. This satisfaction comes with professional achievements, and the skills they learn, rather than the money they earn. As scientific investigation shows, enjoyable jobs can bring various advantages. For employees, they draw their personal working motivation more. As a consequence, their quality of life is enhanced through working for which jobs they actually enjoy.

To sum up, while job security affects people’s choices,I believe that satisfaction is also an equally significant factor.

    Thanks for your time.

In contemporary society, there is arisen a debate over choosing jobs. Some people entertain that individuals should find satisfactory work whereas others hold that the first and foremost point is consistency. From personal perspective, both of them are necessary.

On the one hand, there is no doubt that such safe and regular work could supply the basic living needs of employees. Seen from the traditional perspective, parents often hope their child get a permanent job such as civil servants or bank staff. Their feelings of job satisfaction come from their professional achievements, the skills they learn and the position they reach, rather than the money they earn. To sum up, while job security certainly affects people’s choice of profession, I believe that the satisfaction is equally indispensable.
