    When it comes to whether to work alone or work with others, people’s opinions vary from person to person. This gives rise to the argument on the effective way of working on a creative task. In my opinion, it is an advisable and preferable way to accomplish a task jointly.

    Working collectively with others is beneficial to students’ academic learning, by offering them more knowledge and triggering their enthusiasm in study. To begin with, collaborating with group members can provide students with comprehensive expertise. By communicating with others in a group, students can acquire a wide range of academic knowledge in language, art, and history. Also they can broaden practical knowledge not imparted by instructors. Moreover, never can we ignore the significance of cooperation to students’ interest in learning. Working collectively creates information gaps between their existing knowledge and authentic situations. This encourages them to locate the missing information, such independent thinking, and social skill, so as to fill the gap.

    Working with others can promote students personal development by honing their interpersonal skills and cultivating their persistence. Initially, communicative tactics, a vital element in one’s personal and academic life, can be practiced during collaboration. Specifically, people from assorted backgrounds and cultures are accessible in cooperation, where a set of interpersonal skills, including nonverbal communication, engaged listening and etiquette, can be practiced. Additionally, it is well acknowledged that when having a cooperation with other members, students will become more determined. To be more specific, it is coping with enigmas, abundant during a task, that fosters one’s persistence, one of the most admirable virtues, and urges one to achieve success regardless of any setbacks.
