With the development of the worldwide economy, traveling around world is becoming more popular than before. Some people believe that this is a positive trend because it can stimulate the government finance.While others have opposite views. In my opinion, I believe that international tourism harms both to the environment and local people’s life.
First of all, global tourism destroys the natural ecosystem. It is reported that many animal species have died out during the past ten years. Despite the economic income, the environment destruction can’t disappear. For example, in some islands of Thailand,many fish species died out. Those fishes are relying on a specific water temperature. With the popularity of diving, the temperature is too high for them to survive. This kind of phenomenon not only happens in Thailand but also in all over the world. Besides, this trend also brings some pollution to the areas which are really fragile. With the popularity of hiking, the ecosystems of some mountains becomes disordered. These changes can’t to be turned back.
Besides, international tourism makes it more difficult to conserve culture. Global tour makes it easier to mix different kinds of culture. With the development of global traveling, tourists from all over the world bring different customs to the local residents. These customs change the habits,ranging from agriculture to languages.This situation brings long-term influence to the local culture.Without rightful policy,local cultures can’t be reserved.
In conclusion, although international tourism can help the economy of some countries increasing, it also destroys the natural environment and change the native traditions.

There are numbers of significant benefits to having a gap year. First of all, this period leads students to relax. This helps students development because high school studying place a huge pressure on students.For example,they need to get high score in exams,so that they have to work hard everyday. Furthermore,young people can also think about themselves and make their life goals during this time.Not everyone fits in further learning. Through this period, the younger can try various work and know themselves better. If they decide to go to university,this year is also a good stint for preparation. Students can use this stint to read as many books as they can. This preparation makes it easier for their university studies.
However,there are also negative impacts which must be considered.A growing body of research suggests that having a year relaxed makes a negative effect on friendships. Different age makes it harder to have friends.Without many friends, their university life may be alone. Besides, students also find it’s more difficult to get offers from universities in the next year. The competition becomes more and more competitive as time goes on. That’s why many high school graduates are unwilling to gap a year.
In conclusion, having a year for working or traveling helps students think better about themselves so that they can make better goals for their life. In contrast, the cost of this action are loneliness and less chance.
