“Throwaway society” seems a trend all over the world nowadays. people wonder what cause it and what the trend leads to? I think economic development and business competition are responsible for the change. In the meantime, this tendency has a positive effect on economy in turn although causes waste and pollution.

Firstly, economic development is pivotal in forming “throwaway society”. People’s disposable income increased noticeably as the improvement of living standards. So they tend to buy various wares except necessaries, but some of which turn out to be unpractical. Besides, the young generation, the main force in purchasing, prefer fresh stuffs like cellphones in pursuit of latest technologies. In order to keep pace with the times and predominate the market, manufactures focus on designing new products all the time. Thus produtcs are easily superseded by relatively new ones, which brings about short life spans of goods.

And what may it lead to? In my opinion, it’s detrimental to the environment. Because throwaway society totally belies the principle of sustainable development, more materials and resources are wasted during the process. Nevertheless, it can foster innovation. In this ‘throwaway society’, consumers become demanding, longing for approximately consummate products with various functions in one. Consequently, companies resort to innovation to cater to public requirements for the sake of market competitiveness. Finally, it promotes economic growth. Because consumer’s expenditures are essential in economic development, contributing to Gross Domestic Product.

In conclusion, throwaway society mainly results from economic growth, purchasing habits and faster update cycle. In the meanwhile, it poses a threat to environment but contributes to economic growth and industrial innovation.

“Throwaway society” is seemingly a trend all over the world nowadays. And a lot people wonder what cuase it and what the trend lead to?

To begin with, ecomomic development is pivotal in forming “throwaway society”. People’s disposable income increased noticeably as the improvement of living standard. So, they tend to buy various produts excepet necessaries, which are not indispensable. Besides, the young generation, the main force in purchasing, formed a bad purchasing habit. Unlike their seniorities, most of them never suffer poverty or deprivation of goods and materials. They take spending money lavishly for granted. In addition, mojarity of them are inclined to buy on a whim after watching the advertisement or a slight discount. However, finally they find what they bought is not satisfying as the propoganda or unnecessary for them. Last, the update cycle becomes shorter and shorter, take cellphones for example, cellphones companies almost release new cellphones several times a year. Every products seem to face the fate of being out-dated. In order to keep pace with the times, companies focus on desinging new produts all the time while the customers follow them behind.

And what may it lead to? In my opinion, it’s detrimental to the environment. Throwaway society totally belies sustainable development, it wastes more materials and resources in the same span of time. And recycling is not adopted in this type of society. However, it can foster innovation. Because customers have higher requirements, they long for buying approximately consummate products, which combine various functions in one. Consequently,in order to cater to them,  companies resort to innovation to be competitive or ser the trend in their fields. Finally, it promotes economic growth. Consumer’s expenditures are essential in ecnomic development, contributing to Gross Domestic Product.

In conclusion, “throwaway society” is mainly caused by economic growth, purchasing habits and update cycle. In the meanwhile, it poses a threat to environment but contributes to economic growth and industrial innovation.

There has been a debate about the range of subjects students should learn.  Some people insist students should concentrate on all subjects instead of focusing on the subject they prefer. While others hold a different view. I  agree with balancing all courses.

One benefit of balancing all subjects is that it enables students to learn extensive knowledge. And this process prompts them to broaden their horizon and the scope of learning. Moreover, learning all curriculum means more possibilities, especially at university.  For example, you may realize that you are talented in one subject and get the orientation of your future while learning it. Besides, numerous workers realize what they  learnt at school is very useful, even those they deem futile in the past.   Another benefit is that concentrating on all subjects is likely to achieve the all-round development of students. Those elites possessing a wider range of knowledge satisfy the requirements of many large companies. Therefore, they are prone to face better job prospects in the future.

On the other hand, focusing on the course they prefer can drive more passion for study. Thus most of students take initiatives to study rather than being pushed by parents and teachers. In addition, thorough study on one subject makes it impossible for them to become experts in their own fields apiece.

In my view, students had better concentrate on all subjects so that they can become learned and erudite. In the meantime, they can find their potential and develop in an all-round way during the procedure. Although favourite subjects excite more enthusiasm for study.

Some people insist teenagers should concentrate on all subejescts instead of the subject they prefer. while others hold a different view, I am in favor of balancing all sunjects.

To begin with, nobody is an island, so do subjects, they interact with each other. That’s common in learning process, for example, memorizing chemical elements is easier with knowing their English expressions. In the meanwhile, chemical elements give hints for spelling by offering initial letters. What’s more, problems concerning various subjects are commonplace, as in English reading, it’s much easier to comprehend articles with overall knowledge.

Then, concentrating on all subejects forces them to diffrentiate solutions to various problems due to their charateristics. These practice enhance their abilities to tackle problems and enable them to view things from muitiple perspectives. Besides, balacing all subjects is always linked with integrated developement. They learn not only liberal arts, full of philosophic theories, but also science, cosisting of truthes. That kind of education tends to foster erudite and learned students. Last, students focusing on all subjects relatively approach companies’ requirements for elites with a wide range of knowlege. Therefore, they may face a better job prospect in the future.

On the other hand, focusing on the subject they like or are good at drives more passion and enthusasm for study. So they are prone to take intiative to study rather than to be forced by others. Moreover, in-depth study on one subject are likely to make them experts in their fields apiece.

In conclusion, I think teenagers should be engrossed on all subjects instead of one subject, though the latter one are more interesting and enable them to specialize in one subject.
