From my perspective, it’s better to give positive comments to our partners first, then negative feedback. Because this can not only make the cooperation more efficient but also leave a good impression on others.

Nowadays, people can watch movies not only in the movie theater but also through the Internet. At the same time, which kind of movie is worth watching has become a concerned question. A body of opinion holds that only movies that can teach us something about real life are worth watching. However, a different opinion thinks that many other kinds of movies which are artistic, humorous, or fancy, are also attractive. So, I disagree that movies that can teach us something about real life are the only category worth watching.

Admittedly, watching movies can help us learn something about real life. Some realistic movies illustrate how the leading roles cope with relationships in the office or how they conquer difficulties in their life. When we are watching these movies, career tips indeed benefit us. Besides, we can always obtain courage when the hero succeeds at the end of the film. However, many people watch movies not for learning but for entertainment.

Many foreign films show exotic customs and tell historical stories. The contents of this kind of movie are far from our real life. However, by watching these, we can enjoy exotic cultures and watch a fantastic story. Although these movies cannot help us in our real lives, it still provides good entertainment for people.

Additionally, action movies are also worth watching because they can offer audiences lots of fun. For example, the series of The Fast and The Furious, one of the most lucrative action movies in the world, has never lost its captivating lure because of excitingly street racing, the tough guys, and the beauties. Although most audiences may not participate in racing in their real lives, they still choose to watch this film in the theater.

In a conclusion, there are many movies worth watching, not just educational ones.

The reading passage presents three solutions to control salt level in the Salton Sea. However, the lecture claims that these solutions all have problems and are impossible to avoid salinity from increasing.

Second, the reading material proposes that bringing ocean water into the lake through pipelines or canals would decrease the lake’s salinity since water in the Pacific Ocean is 20 percent less salty than water in the lake. But the professor attacks this idea because bringing ocean water into the lake needs long distance pipelines. However, the government cannot afford the major construction.

Third, the writer states that dividing the lake into several sections by constructing walls and controlling them separately would help. To be specific, allowing salinity in the small sections to increase and reducing salinity in the main section by combining freshwater. The lecture also questions this solution by stating that some accidents, such as earthquakes, may break the walls. So that the high salinity water in the small sections will flow back into the main sections, resulting in the failure.
